Vintage "Love Warms the Heart" Teapot

Current Inc., a Colorado Springs Company, inported this "Love Warms the Heart" Teapot from Thailand. This teapot was discovered in an

Estate sale featuring an entire tea pot and cup and saucer collection.

It features the wonderful saying surrounded by spring flowers on one side and a glorious bouquet of spring posies on the reverse.

The teapot measure 9" tip of spout to the outer handle and is 6.5" in height bottom to top of lid.

There are no cracks, chips, or blemishes.

Vintage Duchess English Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer

This lovely cup from The Duchess China Works is decorated with violet and yellow roses and spring flowers on a bed of lovely green leaves. The footed cup has scalloped edges and gold is used as a highlight on the edge and also around the foot. The saucer has a scalloped edge and is rimmed with gold.

The cup measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches in height. The saucer measures 5 ½ inches in diameter.

There are no chips or scratches on the set and it is in excellent condition. There is a mark on the inner wall of the cup. It looks like a wisp of gold. See attached photo.

The Duchess China Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom has been producing fine china since 1888. The Directory of European Porcelain (NAG Press) shows that A. T Finney & Sons acquired the operation in 1947.

Vintage Duchess Tea Cup and Saucer with Purple and Pink Flowers

The lovely cup and saucer from The Duchess China Works is decorated with purple and pink flowers with green leaves on green branches.

The footed cup, 3 1/8" in diameter at the lip and 2 1/4" in height, has a scalloped edge and gold is used as a highlight on the edge, around the foot and on the handle.

The saucer is 5 3/8" in diameter , has a scalloped edge and is rimmed with gold.

No chips, scratches, or blemishes.

Vintage Royal Grafton English Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer 25th Anniversary

This lovely cup from The Grafton China Works commemorates the 25th wedding anniversary and is decorated with a spring scene with a small child and flowers.  The cup’s footed base, rim and handle are decorated in gold.  The saucer has a scalloped edge and is rimmed with gold. Both pieces include the words “25th Anniversary” hand painted in silver in a stunning script.

The cup measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. The saucer measures 5 ½ inches in diameter.

There are no chips or scratches on the set and it is in excellent condition.

The Royal Grafton Company was founded in 1876 in Staffordshire, England by Alfred Jones, and continued to produce fine bone china items up until 1972.

Vintage Stafford English Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer   

This lovely cup from The Royal Stafford Company features the Richmond Pattern and is decorated with a bouquet including a pink rose and yellow, blue, and purple spring flowers on a bed of green leaves.  The cup’s footed base, rim and handle are decorated in gold.  Both the cup and saucer have a scalloped edge and are rimmed with gold. There is also a purple decoration with additional gold highlights on both the cup and saucer.

The cup measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 2 5/8 inches in height. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.

There are no chips or scratches on the set and it is in excellent condition.

The Royal Stafford Company was established in 1845 and is housed in the historical Overhouse Manufactory buildings of Burslem, Stoke of Kent.

Vintage Queen Anne "Fair Lady" Tea Cup and Saucer 1950s

This Queen Anne cup and saucer was produced in the 1950’s. The pieces are decorated with a pink rose lying on a bed of grey leaves with grey stems.

The cup’s footed base, rim and handle are decorated in gold. It features a scalloped rim and the inside of the cup has a lovely pink tint. The cup measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 2 7/8 inches in height.  

The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter.  The scalloped rim is decorated in gold. The saucer has the same rose decoration.

Queen Anne cups and saucers are fine quality and were produced by Shore & Coggins, High Street and Edensor Works, Longton, Staffordshire Potteries England from 1911 to 1966. 

There are no chips or scratches on the set and it is in excellent condition.
